A collaboration with the incredible Polish industrial project
I.V.Lab is nearing completion.
Expect a physical release of psychedelic rhythmical ambient insanity some
time in the last quarter of 08 (hopefully).
A split between Mystified and Roto Visage
entitled "Tectonic Cargo" will be released on
Bone Structure in the next coming months. Expect introspective drones and
fingernails on chalkboards.
An exclusive Roto Visage remix of the
Worms of the Earth track "The Serpents that Lick the Dust" will appear on
the limited bonus disk of "The Angels of Prostitution" which will be released on
Bugs Crawling Out of People
in May of this year.
Works in the fetal stage include a collaboration with
Christoph de Babalon,
a work of spiritual projection with psychic and prophet
Aaron C. Donahue, and quite possibly another two full lengths - one of
which will be inspired by Italian cinema and other of which will explore sonic
areas not yet touched by Roto Visage.
The next full length "Where the Mandrakes Grow" has hit a few brick walls due to the
Hydra label's collapse. A new home is currently being saught.
Creative output is admittedly slow going as life has taken many surprising
twists and turns over the past 8 months. However, one should never construe
the slow tides as being frozen.

The Roto Visage remix album, entitled "The Reconstitution of Roto Visage" is coming together
nicely. All material has been submitted and artwork is being finalized. Expect this to be
released via Poland's Kaos ex
Machina netlabel. Roto Visage has appeared on past Kaos ex Machina compilations and
it is very recommended you check them out. More info on the remix album can be
found here.
The collaboration with Kenji Siratori
entitled "Tragedy Lobotomy" has been released and is available for purchase through
Autumn Wind Productions.
The mcdr clocks in at a little under 20 minutes and brings together the psychotic spoken
word of cyberpunk bizarro writer Kenji Siratori and the insane ambient soundscapes of Roto Visage.
"Everything is Brown" the full length collaboration between Roto Visage and his brother,
Jugular Notch is complete and
currently undergoing the mastering process. Expect warm, tube-driven, analog abyss.
This is definitely not one to miss as it is incredibly diverse. Pure dark ambient ear candy.
We are currently looking for distribution of this release and it will most likely end up as a
free net release (lucky you!).
Current energies are focused on many different projects which should be coming to fruition
shortly. Collaborations with such artists as
Corpoparassita, IV Lab and
Danger are continuing to
develop nicely. Split releases are planned with Mystified
and Aymrev Erkroz Prevre. Expect
more details as they develop.
Here's the big news. The next solo Roto Visage full length "Where the Mandrakes Grow" is complete
and will be mastered by the legendary Robert
Rich and will be professionally released on UK's
Hydra Records.
Expect this to hit the shelves (quite literally) in late 07 / early 08.
And lastly, I must thank everyone who purchased the first two Roto Visage cdr releases.
I've been getting great feedback from both so expect more releases in this format in the near
future. I strongly recommend tracking down a copy of Syndrom Cotarda and/or Belial if you haven't
already as they seem to be selling rather well (they're quite limited). Thank you also to those
who cannot afford to purchase Roto Visage releases but still listen.
Stay tuned, everything is evolving (and brown).
Take Care,
Jason

Roto Visage will be participating in

directly inspired by Joannes Wierus book, out from the XVIth century. A total
of 18 demons from the christian demonology have been selected, and so 16 bands
(from experimental blackened metal to darkest ritual ambient soundscapes)
will be invited to celebrate a chosen demon's audial embodiement. 20 minutes
of sonic invocation will be featured on each cdr, which will be entitled after
the demon's name. Limited edition of 50 copies each. Roto Visage will be covering
Belial.

Atum will be
released on Beast of
Prey. Limited to 200 copies.
"Where the Mandrakes Grow" The next

Professional release. Currently seeking labels outside of the UK and Eire

Kikapu's circle series.

limited edition 3" cd housed in a circular tin with hand crafted, custom
artwork by visual artist Erin Dooley. All Circle releases contain one 20
minute track from an artist focusing on ambient and minimal electronic music.
Each issue will be made available in an edition of 40 numbered copies.
Once they are sold out, no more will be re-printed.
A collaboration
between Roto Visage and his brother is coming closer and closer to being
completed. This work entitled "Everything is Brown" will most likely be a
net release. More details will follow as it develops.
Continued
collaborative endeavors with artists such as Kenji Siratori, Corpoparassita,
Danger, and A Field of Black Orchids are still under way. Hopefully this
material will be complete and available soon.
